Crotchrocket or not??

So out of nowhere my hubby brings up the topic of getting one. A guy from his shop is selling his which is practically brand new with low mileage. I am such a safety freak and think they're really dangerous. After a friend that I've known since 6th grade died because of a motorcycle accident, it's hard to think they're anything but life threatening. I really don't like the idea of owning one but at the same time I don't want to deprive him of what he wants. Especially since he's such a hard worker. He deserves it. Not to mention he put $$$$$ and completely paid off our jeep :D I just have to loosen up a bit. I don't want to be like a mother and take away all his adventurous ways because I'm too worried about his well being while he's riding. I can be concerned just not enough to spoil his "fun". He gave some positive points-He'd take it to work and it would save a ton of $$ on gas (that right there was the winner). cheaper insurance/costs less than getting a 2nd car and we'd have a blast taking it cruising all over. LOL, can you imagine me on the back of that thing?? I guess it won't hurt if he has a couple toys. Anyway, he really wants one and has pretty much convinced me but I still like to give him a hard time and say, "no freaking way!!! "
